One of our core values at Prairie Insurance is that we will have each other’s back through thick and thin, however this isn’t just an internal value, it is an external one that we wish to personify every single day.
One of the biggest reasons that an individual chooses to trust an insurance broker is to have that piece of mind that the correct coverage was offered to them, and that if a claim happens, their broker will be there to help them through it. Needless to say, this kind of care requires commitment and consistency so that the piece of mind our valued customers experience can continue.
Having someone’s back means that there is a choice made to see someone through thick and thin and to be the support in a time of crisis and need. It means that there is a mutual trust that is shared between two or more parties and that there is a common interest in the greater good. I dare say that this is a common understanding, however it is critical to bring it to the forefront of a relationship (business or otherwise) from time to tome to remind ourselves that the relationship exists for the collaborative empowerment of all parties involved.
A crucial part of having someone’s back is communication and accountability. Unless both elements are present it is difficult to know if needs are being met, and whether or not the other person is sticking it through with you. This is why Prairie Insurance fosters an environment of open communication and accountability with it’s team members and with our customers. We encourage the dialogue internally when it comes to constructive criticism and we welcome that from our customer base as well. There is a saying that goes “you cant fix a secret” and this hold true with communicating where there are areas of discontentment in relationships and feeling like the other person is really there for you.
Prairie Insurance is continuing to put the value of “having each other’s back”at the top of our priorities list. If there are concerns about how this is being lived out, please talk to us because that is what makes a stronger team. Constructive communication around this value is always welcomed!
